In science this week we used a ramp and three different surfaces to test the effects of friction, we also used Newton Meters to test how much force was needed to pull an object across different surfaces. #predictions #fairtest #variables #observations #wearescientists

Year 5 had a great first day back today, we focused on our Esafety block and talked about the definitions of bullying and banter online and how they can be perceived differently. We created definition dice and we then discussed them with a partner. #esafety #onlinebullying

Internet safety day in year 5 - enjoying a BBC live lesson about understanding AI and how to use it safely.

Check in circle- we sang a song by Harry Styles, focusing on word choices, we looked at what is our safe place and kindness. I was blown away by their responses and it made me happy to have some children say that being in class makes them feel safe. #MyVoiceMatters @Place2Be
