Thanks to @MrFuentesCUOL for his amazing lesson on sound vibrations through musical instruments! It was fascinating to learn more about how you can change the pitch on the different instruments. @NiddrieMillPS

P6 enjoyed some time in the wild garden, identifying trees, using a flow chart, but then checking it with an app to see if their answers matched, lots of discussions & team work. Then we played some nature connection games. @NiddrieMillPS

P3b had a great time at sports day, thanks to all the adults who came to cheer them on, lots of team spirit, trying their best and having lots of fun. @NiddrieMillPS

Yesterday P3b, learned what a biomedical scientist was & drew their version of them. Today, they met some & got to see what they did! They designed bacteria or a virus, checked fake poo samples & used a microscope. @NiddrieMillPS @isla2012 @LothianHCS

P3b enjoyed a rugby taster with Portobello Rugby Club #PTBP, what fantastic team work. They enjoyed some meditation afterwards. @NiddrieMillPS #NMHW23

On Monday P3b applied their coding knowledge to create simple ‘programs’ or in this case using simple commands to create dances, they also had a go at body percussion, lots of fun for our first day of health week #NMHW23 @NiddrieMillPS

On a Thursday, a group of P6 children have been learning how to look after an allotment, how plants grow and then how to use the food that is grown. What great team work @CG_CarrGomm. @NiddrieMillPS

Today, P1C had a fun session in the wild garden, they played some Nature based games, heard the story ‘Everybody Needs a Rock’ and found their own special rock. They had lots of fun, connected with nature & showed great team work. @MissHowat @NiddrieMillPS

Today in Tools group, the boys were measuring, using a hack saw and putting the wood together to create the first letter of their name. They got to different stages of the project. @MissGor59475025 @MissHowat @NiddrieMillPS

P2b wore Egyptian clothes, used natural materials to write their name in hieroglyphics or created their own version of and Ancient Egyptian Icon. Great team work and creativity. @MissSimmons29 @NiddrieMillPS
