A5 We have to model, discuss, and continue to provide ss w/ the opportunity to use them within their daily reading lives. Encourage them to have conversations about them and keep them current in the classroom. If we stop referring to them the ss will stop using them. #hcpsread.

Follow up: Ss worked on numbers/ stats. Great convos about why the author used those numbers &how they were imp to the person's life. Reading biographies and made connections to accomplishment, obstacle or impact. Made a video but its not twitter worthy. 😉 #hcpsread
