Out & about running errands today & everywhere I went I ran into past students. All had great news to share (jobs, college graduation, travel, engagement) &/or fond memories to recount. It was so humbling & uplifting to share in their happiness for a moment.

Last wk we started an investigation in class. I've been out ill 2 days. Each day I am getting barraged with student messages: "feel better & hurry up, we want to finish this investigation!" These kids are both sweet & invested.
