I’m deep in mock marking season in my new school and great things: ☑️ All marked by December - some schools have really late mocks ☑️ All meetings cancelled for two weeks to allow marking time ☑️ No expectation to annotate / fill out feedback sheets or to even give papers back

I’m spending all my resources, my time, funding and energy convincing teachers to come to my school in metro Sydney. We don’t want promises. We need action. Send all corporate positions back to the classroom. We need support on the ground. Schools can’t function without teachers.

So proud of my students at Killarney. This one hasn’t been home or seen his parents for 3 years. Due to a number of staffing challenges he was left without a Software Teacher for 1/2 of year and I had to fill in the gaps. Resilient and strong.
