In our current IB unit, How the World Works, we’ll learn all about patterns and cycles in the natural world. Today, we traced shadows of trees, dinosaurs, our hands, each other. We measured objects to their shadows, compared our shadow to other’s, and had fun! @rcsdsargeant

Creating lasting friendships and building a positive school community through Big Buddy/Little Buddy activities. For our first get together of the year we played board games, read books, colored, and built with legos. @rcsdsargeant

Today we made apple sauce. So much learning in this fun task. We have seeds to examine, peels & cores to compost, noticed the peels were longer than our height, will taste & graph our fav color apple, & have yummy sauce to eat! @rcsdsargeant

Thank you to the Roseville Utility Exploration Center and Martha Riley Library for having our K/1 class visit today. The children were so engaged in learning and had a wonderful time. @rcsdsargeant
