What better way to welcome all of our library friends back to the library than with this book! “Our strength is our diversity…” All grades K-5 loved it. So awesome when a kid says “Hey that kid looks like me!” #BackToSchool #allarewelcome #d123cov #d123kol #d123

I think I may try to adapt this with 4th and 5th grade as well.
Using the "CRAAP" test to evaluate resources sounds like a great way to get middle school students to evaluate where and what they search and find. C: Currency R: Relevance A: Authority A: Accuracy P: Purpose. https://t.co/XW13Lq5Fek

Another reason every school needs a librarian. Great article on why school librarians are needed for students to strengthen #infolit skills.
If school librarians facilitate student-led inquiry at least weekly, that dramatically improves the odds that students have been taught the full range of essential information literacy skills.
