Mother Teresa, tireless worker of charity, pray for us, so that our criterion for action might be gratuitous love, offered freely to everyone without distinction of language, culture, race, or religion.

God does not love you because you behave well. He loves you, plain and simple. His love is unconditional; it does not depend on you.

God does not choose us because of our “goodness”, but precisely because we are and we feel small.

One of the first hopes that Cardinal Clancy expressed was the great need to “get the Good News to the kids.” We continue to live this through our College Scriptural theme where we have are inspired to “serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received” (1 Peter 4:10).

Let's look at the "saints next door" who, with simplicity, respond to evil with good, have the courage to love their enemies and to pray for them.

It's a cause very close to our heart, and tomorrow we honour the memory of Mr Bell through our annual Beanies for Brain Cancer fundraiser. Students will be raising much needed funds for the @MarkHughesFdn and #MHFBeanie

Only those who see with the heart see things well, because they know how to “look into” each person: to see a brother or sister apart from his or her mistakes, hope amid difficulty. They see God everywhere.

In this Sunday's Gospel (Mt 10:26-33) Jesus invites us not to be afraid, to be strong and confident in the face of life's challenges, because even when we encounter setbacks, our lives rest firmly in God’s hands, who loves us and takes care of us.

If we draw God’s mercy, forgiveness, and tenderness from the #HeartOfJesus, then our heart too will gradually become more patient, more generous, and more merciful.

In our darkest moments, when we sin or are disoriented, we always have an appointment with God. We do not need to be afraid, because God will change our hearts and give us the blessing reserved for those who allow Him to change them. #GeneralAudience
