Turns out the @michaeljackson estate haven’t given their blessing to this tribute at all, which means they will block any attempt at using any MJ vocals being used… dead in the water I think!

The only difference here is, it’s being labelled as Unreleased MJ tracks, when really they are just music tracks and Demos made for him, he may have contributed to them in part, but they are not MJ songs in the typical sense.

It’s no different to the song Rock Your Body. It was written for MJ, he passed on it and Justin Timberlake recorded it instead.

So this album that’s coming out, technically isn’t unreleased MJ songs because MJ never actually recorded them.

In 2010 when the estate were looking for songs for the Michael Album, they did try to acquire these songs, only to be told no vocals were recorded and the songs were never finished.

Michael never completed any of the work he did during this time, and he never recorded any vocals for anything.

So we know in 2006, MJ lived in Ireland and he had some of his collaborators come and work with him including Michael Prince and Will-I-Am.

My excitement for the biopic fades with every update. If they don’t touch on his struggles, lawsuits and the like, then what’s the point… and if it ends with Bad then again whats the point? 😩.
