I hear that. But think about how most fields that have been heavily female focused by design have the same expectation. Teaching. Nursing. Social work. Etc. itβs a broken patriarchy that changes too slowly.
Only in social work can you have years of experience, deep care, and commitment β and still be required to work 38 hours a week for free just to advance. Most of us canβt afford to quit our jobs when we need to survive. This system doesnβt just undervalue us, it drains us. #rant.
