That's nice. Great work in mentoring younger folks. However, I think this could be a better url pattern to follow REST API best practices, especially when they're leaning newly. POST /api/store GET /api/store GET /api/store/:id PUT /api/store DELETE /api/store/:id
Just wrapped up a CRUD session with my mentee. we built a full CRUD API using .NET and EF Core for the database. Try .net, you'll love it.
