One of the things I will forever be grateful to my parents is the education they gave me. It wasn't easy TBH, but they ensured I went to one of the best schools in my area, from primary to tertiary. Anytime I look back I can't but just continue to pray for them.
We have to get more people into schools. Even in your disprivilege, education gives you leverage. It teaches you how to think, how to know your options and weigh it, how to make better decisions, and opens you to opportunities. We are too poor as a people, and we cannot break.

I've tried not to engage in this DL & Msc. But I can say for a fact that your conclusion is nothing short of Fallacy of hasty Generalization. You only know your circle so don't just conclude by saying "Majority". There is a stack difference between someone coming to study and.
What can your Msc bring to the table like now now????.DL was delivering COS while Msc was still buffering, till the extent that white paper caught up with it. No disrespect to your Msc, but in terms of survival which is what majority came here for, DL is the current champion.
