ND didn't quit; they are just the only honest team telling you it wouldn't be the same team to actually play in a bowl. Other bowl teams are just going to have the best players sitting out for either the pros or transfer. Bowl games have become the 1st preseason game.

We all know the bowl game teams aren't the real teams with so many sitting out because they want to go pro or to transfer. The "other" bowl games are sort of a joke. I get it. Let the ones who are going to play on Sunday get theirs without the guilt trip or the injuries.

The corruption and pointlessness is obvious when you see all of your hated rivals all of a sudden lead a campaign supporting you. These colleges are just going after the $. Sports media outlets are all a part of it, too.

Why should a crappy college team get a bunch of money and a better tram have to share it?

Conferences mean nothing anymore. A PAC12 with 2 teams. Big 12 with 16. Big 10 with 18. The Atlantic Coast Conference has 2 teams from California. Nobody moves around like that unless there is political and financial pressure to do so.

The college conference system just showed what a corrupt system it is. It's a way of using $ and influence in a self perpetuating system.
