It’s my view that Bond should have said he made quiche ‘avec’ cabernet. The clip after this shows a famous Left Bank château, Château Talbot, made primarily with Cabernet Sauvignon. I pointed out to the château that their wine appears in the film, but they were unaware.

Château Montrose 2008, a perfect match for James Martin’s inspired calves liver with mash, shallot and Madeira gravy, finished with a shot of Sherry vinegar and butter. Oh, and sausages for the youngest.

The Moroccan wines are pleasant enough, certainly better than the sound of the lady who arrived at the pool, her voice somewhere between a shrill and a scream. This is Eclipse, a blend of Sangiovese and Syrah.
