After dropping 51 kg I’m freezing this winter. Earlier I had a thick fat “jacket” and a lot more tissue doing constant metabolism, so resting heat output was higher. Now there’s less insulation and lower baseline burn, so the same weather feels colder at 72 kg.

This is what 4 doses of 2.5 mg Mounjaro swings like over 28 days. Each shot stacks on what’s left from the last one. By dose 4 you’re peaking just under 4 mg right after the injection and drifting to 1.5 mg before the next. Dose design is planned for consistent drug exposure.

2nd of 4 weekly doses at 2.5 mg. You start the week with 0.95 mg of the previous dose, top it up to 3.45 mg with new shot, then drift to 1.5 mg by Day 6. The drop is almost linear for every dose, thats not just mathematics, thats how the drug works, pure design genius.

This is how a 2.5 mg starter dose of Mounjaro (dose 1 of 4) tapers day by day. With a ~5-day half-life, the amount in your system drops to ~50% by around Day 5.

Let's say you are on Mounjaro 2.5 mg (first dose). Half-life is ~5 days (so what’s in your body halves every 5 days). If you take it weekly, roughly how much of the drug is still in your body each day until the next shot?

My dance with the scale explained: travel + food trials = calorie swings + salt swings + carb swings + sleep stress + slower gut. That changes glycogen, water and gut content faster than fat. Most of this graph is fluid math, not fat math. Consistency exposes the real trend.

Pathway 7/7 – Bone & Other hormones Tirzepatide is largely bone-neutral, with modest benefits on bone remodelling signals (RANKL/OPG), so meaningful weight loss doesn’t translate into major bone loss. Early studies also show favourable shifts in sex-hormone and reproductive axes

Pathway 6/7 (Part 2) – Kidneys, salt & BP (RAAS) Tirzepatide’s weight loss and better insulin sensitivity make the kidneys waste a bit more sodium instead of hoarding it. That means less fluid in the system, a quieter RAAS (renin–angiotensin–aldosterone) axis and a gentler

Pathway 6/7 (part 1) – Blood vessels Tirzepatide doesn’t just shrink fat, it helps your arteries behave younger. By improving insulin sensitivity, weight, BP and inflammation, it boosts nitric oxide (NO) from the endothelium – the gas that relaxes vessels, keeps platelets from

A fantastic case of why discipline matters more than the dose. Just on 2.5 mg yet seeing the results.
@MounjaroNotes I find the same. Have lost 14 kg which I could not previously do. Despite walking for an hour every day, going to the gym, seeing a dietician and following dietary guidelines. My doctor prescribed it - I just use 2.5 mg per week (never upped the dose). Brain fog is gone too :)

Pathway 5/7 – Immune & inflammation Tirzepatide dials down NF-κB + JAK-STAT (the master switches for inflammation in immune cells). That quiets cytokines like IL-6, TNF-α and lowers hsCRP (blood inflammation marker). Net: less chronic “smouldering” inflammation in vessels, liver,

72.8 kg this morning. Last 3 days my only rule: no eating unless my stomach is actually growling. That ended up as one 800-cal meal a day. Scale did not budge before that. Brutal, simple, effective — not advice, just my data.

Pathway 4/7 (Part 2) – Liver fat Tirzepatide turns down the liver’s fat-making switch (SREBP-1c) and nudges PPARα/γ (gene level fat metabolism switch) to burn + export fat. Less new fat made, more fat burned/exported → lower liver fat, better insulin sensitivity, less NASH.
