A feel good Ken Roczen win. Fastest lap, also theoretical fastest. Good for Suzuki and PMG. Lawrence solid. Even running the fastest laps the final 4 laps. Lowest variance. Tomac pays price for mistake. Sexton struggling w comfort Savatgy solid 6th https://t.co/FUYdZvT3ag

Deegan made this look easy. Kitchen and mcadoo were both really good though. Mcadoo lowest variance, kitchen had theoretical fastest lap. Deegan holeshots and runs near perfect consistent laps at 85%. Kitchen fastest laps 8-15. https://t.co/bfC2NY99Ge

What’s going on with Anstie? It’s like deegs gave him imposter syndrome with that block pass.

I see a lot of deeds in the session stats for heat 2. Only one fastest sector though. https://t.co/BXEISHBqc6

His ears must have been ringing. Qualifying 2 definitely better. @Josh_Wahlers I guess you were onto something.

Prado fastest in the whoops as they hammered on in the broadcast, but has some work to do in other areas.

It appears the title is over in the west barring a major crash and injury or complete bike failure (even a full DNF probably not enough). Perfect score on heat races. He has not lost a position yet… AVG finish 1.8, right up there with the best division runs by anyone.

It’s safe to say that @jorgeprado61 has exceeded almost everyone’s expectations this year (sans ktm and maybe JT). This is the rookie season I think we all expected. https://t.co/ZkJt37f35a

Some of you may or may not know that my brother and I have been running an amateur race team for about 5 years now. Here’s our update from the Houston SMX Next round. https://t.co/gZZhL8MZUy

Eli Tomac, Very much still in control of this championship. Things were trending down a bit up until that fantastic Race #3 in Houston. What do you guys think? https://t.co/jOTm2G8PCV

Launched the sector proximity chart. If you click on a lap in the lap time rankings, then click sector proximity you’ll see it. Doesn’t work on the live timing yet, but on session detail it does. https://t.co/zTkXLRKGlR

So I’ve had some back and forth with a couple industry folks about that situation with Forkner at A2 holding up HFL. I decided to try to use the Time of Day data on the sectors to see if that can be seen. Came up with this view. Here’s Lap 19-21 from 450 Main at A2. Thoughts?

Safe to say this is far from over in the 450s. Top 4 separated by only 14. Eli holding the edge with 2 wins, 3 podiums, 44 laps led. Hunter Lawrence quietly lurking, w/ a 2.5 avg w/ the best starts. Chase struggling w/ consistency. Webb incoming!

Things are not looking great for anyone not named Haiden Deegan in the 250 West. 93 points, up 19, with 3 of 4 wins, AVG finish of a 1.8, an amazing 17+/0- Passing record. Leading 46 laps, 31 more than his closest competitor Max Anstie w/15. 0 Incidents. https://t.co/UPW74OfaDe

I just added a sector ranking view that allows us to see each riders fastest sector time (and average) over the session ranked against all others. I’m kind of blown away how fast Jorge is in the whoops right now. A little flat in Race #3, but good job to JP.
