DESERT PHOSfate an experimental film by Sahrawi artist Mohamed Sleiman Labat that weaves through the story of phosphate, sand particles, plants and the local knowledge in the desert. Composed of five chapters that don't follow chronological order but connect in a random manner.

What an honor to be invited to exhibit in the Helsinki Biennial 2023 together with Pekka Niskanen, the Helsinki Art Museum and its curators invited us to present our artistic research project PHOSfate in Vallisaari Island this June.
