In #Year2, we finished our food unit in #DT by making strawberry and raspberry cheesecakes! We used our chopping, measuring and instruction skills to help us make the delicious cheesecakes! They were yummy!

Today in #history #year4 were taking on the role of someone during VE Day, following WW2. We interviewed each other to get an insight into our thoughts and feelings on this special day!

Our #Year1 scientists have been looking closely at fish this afternoon. We created detailed diagrams and labelled them #science

#year6 has been learning about their local area. We’ve read about the Tesco #redevelopment taking place on #55morninglane and have created our own enquiry wall with questions about how this will affect the community/land use and biodiversity.

In #year6 this week we have been #sewing our very own #textilebags. We’ve practised different stitches, and added embroidery and appliqué to make our bags unique.

Today we practiced telling the time - we’re getting really good at showing o’clock and half past #year1 #maths

Year 2 will be doing an enquiry about #HackneyWalk. As part of our #enquiry, we will be asking people #questions. Today, we worked in pairs to think of some questions we could ask

Yesterday, #Year4 visited the London Archives, where we took part in a workshop on the Second World War. We examined primary sources that gave us a deeper insight into the process of evacuations, the feelings of evacuees, the rationing scheme, and the types of shelters created.

#Year5 have been learning to measure angles with a protractor in #maths

#year6 had the best trip at #hampsteadheath, exploring maps, making their own and then using them to complete an #orienteering challenge. They showed #resilience and #tenacity!

A big well done to all of #Year2 for their wonderful sharing assembly. They did so well showing all of their grown ups everything we have learnt this year.
