The detection of another case of wild #polio virus in Africa is greatly concerning, even if it’s not unexpected given the recent outbreak in Malawi. We're supporting govts carry out large-scale vaccination campaigns to halt the virus & protect children from its damaging impacts.

The WG on Sustainable Financing successfully concluded with a clear aspiration to increase @WHO assessed contributions to 50% of the base budget, following up on key recommendation of the @TheIndPanel. 👏 Thanks to all member states!
