Final Fantasy key art is undefeated.

Still one of the most beautiful, important, and captivating video games I’ve ever experienced in my life. This is one of the games that showed me that this medium can genuinely create cinematic stories that rival any mainstream blockbuster film—and still does rival and even.

This OG death scene still gives me chills to this day and I appreciate Ever Crisis can be that more simple remake of it for people that want that.

For me, it's storytelling. Of course, there's a handful of aspects to Final Fantasy that make it truly special, but to me, Final Fantasy would simply be your average RPG if it didn't emphasize through it's games that storytelling is *ALWAYS KING*. This is what truly draws me to.

What does Final Fantasy mean to you?

Gonna be real, I am a bit worried and also very underwhelmed by the lead up to this game. There has been little to no marketing for LSA besides a couple trailers. I get it, budget plays a big role here, but if they’re truly not going to push this game hard after nearly a decade.

I’ve been really taking my time with Lost Odyssey and letting my thoughts sink in with every session. And man, having made it to disk 3, all I can say is WHAT. A. GAME. seriously. I cannot wait to write a lengthy video about this masterpiece lost to time very soon.

I LOVE SUPERMAN.

For the people who think I am calling these games perfect—having no issues in their narrative are mistaken. But I have also never thought for a second that one of FF’s major issues were ever rooted in storytelling. It’s that aspect of these games I always look forward to, to this.
