Our EYFS have had a great time today celebrating Chinese Lunar New Year. They have been learning about Chinese traditions, the animals and even tried some delicious Chinese food, using chopsticks. We are always preparing our young children for life in the modern world

Our Little Acorns and Seedling class have had so much fun with the parachute to show teamwork and develop motor skills. They even discussed how the balloon colours are both in the French flag and the British Flag. They know that white represents royalty! Their faces say it all!

2 days to go before Mrs Atherton and her sister take on the Welsh 3 Peaks! Any donation is greatly appreciated. Mrs Atherton is dividing all the monies raised between Moor First School and Royal Stoke Cancer department.

Visit our new Moor First School Facebook page. Today we have completed problem-solving activities together and have been active around our school. We have kept community traditions alive with our maypoling, have been gardening, enjoying the trim trail and rounders!.

Amethyst class have had a fantastic D&T day, making Staffordshire Lobby. They have now been able to progress their cutting abilities by using a bridge hold and claw grip. A big shout out to Chris and Mick's Butchers in Biddulph for supplying us with quality free ingredients.

Moor First school is advertising for a full time lunchtime supervisor (part time roles considered too) 1hour 5 minutes per day. Applications available via our office.

Our school has signed up with national charity the Children's Book Project to receive donations of good quality, gently used books from local families. These will be used across the school. Books can be dropped at reception.

Moor First are taking part in the NSPCC Rocks times table competition today. Each child can play for 60 minutes to help their class to win.
