New eruption detected near the Japanese Island of Iwo Jima.
The island is part of the Volcano Islands Archipelago and researchers expect a new island to emerge due to this eruption.
The monster that ate a star
Vs
The monster that consumed a Black Hole
Is a tagline that I think would go insanely hard if they ever decided to adapt Spacegodzilla
Since my theater was empty I took a bit of liberty with my camera🫣 nobody tell Legendary
This is probably my favorite shot in the entire movie. I absolutely love this moment. Jia now has a connection with Kong, Mothra and Godzilla. She's like the Titan Messiah
RIP Akira Toriyama. I cannot express in any amount of words how your work has impacted my life and the lives of so many people I know. This is absolutely devastating news. You will be greatly missed.
This one hurts guys, completely gutted

So like, what was his motive for desperately trying to conquer the surface world? What makes it so much better than the Hollow Earth? Hollow Earth seems like a perfectly fine place to live out your life. What makes the surface so special that it has over Hollow Earth??
I actually love how you can see her age in Shimo's design. She's just an old granny that just wants to be left in peace. Gonna knit Suko a nice sweater at some point I bet

Funny how the Rock has had 2 decades to improve his acting chops but still to this day caters to roles that don't really challenge him. Just big budget action movies where he can just play himself. Batista has far exceeded his skills by now.
Say what you will about the movie but it was here when the franchise resurrected itself from a decades long slumber. An era we are still living in today.
Much rather the franchise have diversity to it rather than forcing it to just be one thing. The two extremes of the Godzilla spectrum can coexist.
Even when Godzilla and Kong unite, the fandom remains divided
Godzilla fans i need to remind you WE DONT NEED TO FIGHT we have everything rn all sides of the character are currently relevant we can all just be happy we got what we wanted in something that came out recently or will come out soon
-Shooting beams out your back and tail
-Having cool rings to spice up aesthetics
-Having retractable spines
-Evolving into a kick ass new form
In terms of not just looks but even abilities, I just love the experimentation and artistry going on with Godzilla right now
The Stance
The Form
The Aura
The Look
The Majesty
The Build
He stands on business
Putting the whole world on notice and letting them all know who runs this bitch
Pacific Rim is 10 years old! Surreal! A game changing American made Kaiju film directed by the exceptionally talented Guillermo del Toro! A Bar set so high for American made Kaiju Media that others argue have yet to be topped.
What are your favorite memories with Pacific Rim?
Monsterverse needs more respect outside of the community when it comes to posters cuz the MV has some of the best out there. Not a floaty head in sight
After watching Minus One, I've come to this conclusion
MORE OCEAN SCENES IN GODZILLA MOVIES PLEASE
Some of my favorite scenes in this movie are at sea, where Godzilla was at his more terrifying
The Godzilla franchise was reborn, introducing us to the Monsterverse. Consequently ushering in a whole new era for the franchise and kicking off a cinematic universe still going strong to this day.
Long live Godzilla Baby!
The runtime for ‘THE LITTLE MERMAID’ (2023) is 2 hours and 15 minutes, according to AMC Theatres.
The original 1989 animated version is 1 hour and 23 minutes long.
Unpopular opinion but Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Skull Island are seriously underrated and people need to stop sleeping on him. Skull Island is easily the most visually interesting movie out of the bunch. Love to see what he can do with Godzilla and Kong
The final trailer was nostalgic AF. 10 years this cinematic universe has been going strong, I can't believe its been that long already, wow.
Extremely grateful to have it still around though🙏 long live the Monsterverse!
This guy turns 69 today, which is obviously very nice. But more importantly. this will happen once and only once so we might as well get our jokes in. Now the only thing left to do is say Happy Birthday King! May his never ceasing feud with Japan continue to bring us together!
Is there any other fandom out there who obsesses over CGI as much as the Godzilla fandom?? Anyway, posting these cool ass visuals for no particular reason...
Godzilla shots that have him surrounded by flames are some of my favorite ways to frame the KOTM. Such a damn cool visual asthetic that I can't get enough of.
I'm sorry but when they showed the reveal at the very end with Noriko I literally threw my hands up in the air and said "How!?"
My only real major complaint with this movie
Its actually surreal to see a Godzilla movie get this much praise and attention being hailed "An all time classic" when the franchise was almost always looked at from critical and cynical eyes from audiences and critics alike.
Happy to see the general perception changing
