After all the fighting back and forth with the insurance, I finally got scheduled for my shoulder surgery on August 11th. It's the best news I got so far this year and while it's a huge step forward, my fight with them and my former workplace is far from over with.

This happened a couple miles away from where I live. We weren't in any danger, but man, those first two explosions were jarring, especially when they shook the house. Sure was a first for me.
An explosion at a fireworks warehouse in northern California caused several fires, sending black smoke into the air and forcing evacuations, authorities said. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
