If quick fixes were going to work, they would have worked already. The real secret? ✅ lift weights 2-4x/week ✅ walk often ✅ eat enough protein + veg ✅ get restful sleep ✅ drink lots of water ✅ spend time with loved ones ✅ have meaning + purpose …week in and week out

Years ago I was talking to my physical therapist. I pointed to some fat on my lower back and said: “I want to get rid of this.” Him: “You want to get rid of tissue protecting your kidneys?” And damn if that didn’t change how I viewed by body in an instant. 🤯

It’s wild to me when someone’s argument for medication being “bad” is that… “You have to take it forever.” I mean… 🤔 You also have to: ✅ exercise ✅ sleep ✅ brush your teeth ✅ eat protein …forever to keep seeing the benefits.

Some woman on Instagram just told me I have “caterpillar eyebrows” and as an 80’s baby who once plucked my eyebrows nearly all the way off… I cannot thank you enough for the compliment, ma’am! 🙏🏻💅🏻 IYKYK.

I was diagnosed with ADHD in 2021. Since then I’ve done 30 neurofeedback sessions, done therapy with an ADHD specialist, tweaked my nutrition, and made huge lifestyle and behavior changes. AND — I still need help managing it. So earlier this year I started taking meds, and

~1.2 million C-sections are performed each year in the U.S. Yet most women get little to no instruction on post-surgery care or return to exercise. This doesn’t happen with ACL or rotator cuff surgery (even though they’re significantly less common). 🗣️ Women deserve better 🗣️

I had 20 minutes to work out today, so I did: ✅ 10 min sled dragging ✅ 10 min squats + inverted rows This is your reminder that it ALL counts. The 5 min walk. The 10 bodyweight squats. Taking the stairs instead of the elevator. It all matters. It all adds up.

So many women are afraid of getting bulky… …meanwhile I’m over here overhead pressing the 50 lb DBs and doing shrugs with 80 lb DBs. 😆🤷🏼‍♀️ Gimme allllll the upper traps and delts. 💪🏻

Years ago my aunt was at the gym doing cable flyes with 2.5 lbs. A dude approached her chuckling and telling her she should use more weight. Her: "I would if I hadn't recently had heart surgery." Reason 5,276 not to give unsolicited advice: you never know someone's situation.
