The interaction system for my
@HauntedPs1
entry is nearly complete! You can now create fish food, feed it to the little guys, and watch it take effect! Systems wise, this is my most complicated game yet. I'm in love with these little guys 🐟

The atmosphere and sound design on this is absolutely stunning. I love the water caustics on the walls, heavy ocarina of time vibes

I use a bunch of different things to make the sounds, synths, recordings, etc. But to really sell it, I run the files through a low pass filter and reduce the sample rate on import to Unity.

I did! It's kind of a pain when using external animations, but you make an animation curve, insert a key for each frame (in this case it was 12fps), and then set the interpolation mode to constant. That removes the interpolation between the frames and gives you this nice effect!

Looking at that fish food, I can't tell what makes it look more familiar to me: Being a fan of Gundam or being a fan of King's Field.

Oh cool another haunted ps1 jam, still feel bad for tapping out on the last one.
This looks awesome though, like everyone's saying the sound design here is stellar. Really nailing the style.
