If clocks had been invented in the Southern Hemisphere, “clockwise” might have been anticlockwise! Along the equator, we would have never invented the clock as we know it.

Did you know why clocks move clockwise? It actually comes from the Northern Hemisphere. When the sun moved across the sky, the shadow went in the same direction we now call “clockwise.” So when mechanical clocks were invented, they kept that same movement.

Turned out to be a magnificent book review and coffee chill out with scenic views. Most of us learned of this street with such murals on Saturday.
Starting the year on a high. I know one of your resolutions is to read at least 12 books in 2026. (That translates to at least a book in a month). TMC is here to walk that journey with you. On Saturday 24th January we shall hold a book review of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
