can't get over just how many incredible albums we've gotten this year. especially exciting to get so many debut LPs as well! in a time where there's a lot of pressure to pump gimmicky singles, it's soooo refreshing to hear artists double down on creative expression.

@M3LTING_AWAY This is why I think there’s a difference between ‘furry music artists’ (Russelbuck, wsprs, pent up pup) and ‘music artists who happen to be furries’ (car seat headrest, glass beach). I agree that furry music artists are mid.

i considered making more random trash & BIRDCALLS' tracks transition into each other, but i figured it worked against their concepts of "these are random songs with no correlation" lol. i did put a tonnn of care into how i arranged those tracklists though.

if u want to make a dubstep remix of a pop tune because u felt inspired to build off of its ideas, thats Awesome & u should do that :). but if i hear another pop acapella tossed over stagnant saw waves and quarter notes with nothing to do with each other, i will Think Mean Things.
