We're also now available elsewhere: look in our profile for the location of our account where, apparently, skies are more blue.

Here's all the lowdown you need for our #Bury 100 event next weekend. We expect to be busy, and parking will be next to impossible - please, if you can, come by public transport either on our free shuttle services, or by frequent & accessible @BeeNetwork bus or Metrolink.

We also now have temporary phone number 0161 202 1110, as @BT_uk have done a very thorough job of breaking our line and apparently our normal number won’t work for several days.

We're pleased to say that Bury 177 has passed its checks and is confirmed for free heritage bus use at our 'Bury 100' event on 26/27 July. You'll be wowed by its internal refurbishment, including new seats and an interior repaint. Thanks to our volunteers for getting it ready.

You might remember that we had the old Lancashire United Transport sign from Swinton garage restored and finished with gold leaf. We've now installed it in the offices area of our museum - smart, isn't it?

#ThrowbackThursday this week takes us to Wigan, to the Market Place to be exact, watching the 333 bus arrive from Wrightington. It looks very different at this spot today!

We're holding our 'Bury 100' event at our museum on 26/27 July to celebrate the centenary of Bury's buses. Not only is this amazing Bolton Atlantean making its debut at the event, but it's scheduled to do a couple of service runs too! Make sure you're there if you want a ride.

It's #MysteryMonday so it's over to you to say where this bus on the 100 service to Woodhouse Park was snapped. Clue: it's not Wythenshawe! In fact, we know where it is because our studio sneakily deleted the street name signs - so, do you know?

How it started How it's going.Stockport 91 - the very last traditional rear-loader double deck bus to be built and delivered in the United Kingdom - looks very different today than when it arrived at our museum.

Good luck to everyone going to #Oasis #HeatonPark today - and in particular, good luck to all the hard-working @BeeNetwork staff (including the behind-the-scenes ones you don't see) getting thousands of people to and from the gig. Please be nice to the bus driver!

With our 'Bury 100' event just 2 weeks away, this week's #SaturdayShowoff highlighting our collection has to be Bury 177, an 'AEC' that entered service in 1952. If you want a free ride on it, make sure you're at our museum on 26/27 July. Event details:

Our friends at the Wigan Transport Trust are bringing GM Buses 3253 to our Bury 100 event on 26/27 July - these buses were a familiar sight in Bury in the 80s/90s. It'll be a grand day out with free rides, visiting displays and Bury-related merch. Details:

It's #ThrowbackThursday, so that means an image from our extensive archive. Today we're at Ashton bus station, watching the bus to Mossley. Do you remember green 'Joint Board' buses in and around Tameside?

It is, of course, the north end of Princess Street next to Manchester Town Hall (which is off to the left of the photo). Well done if you got it right!.

On Sunday we're due to run free bus services to Heaton Park. But the Oasis concert means traffic won't be Supersonic, so we're going to Slide Away from there and not run that service. But Don't Look Back In Anger, we're also running between the museum and Shudehill every 30 mins.

The Northern Employers Group, the Bradford Building Society - where is this? We're not saying, as it's this week's #MysteryMonday photo. Do you know where this pic was taken? Tell us, and we'll confirm the answer later.
