🚨 In Sumy region, russians targeted medics once again. Six drones deliberately attacked a hospital car used for home & palliative care in Shostka district. Miraculously, no one was injured — but the vehicle was destroyed and nearby buildings damaged.

In Beryslav district, Kherson oblast, russian forces attacked an emergency medical service base. A drone strike damaged an ambulance; no casualties reported.

🇪🇪🤝🇺🇦 Estonian delegation led by Minister of Social Affairs Carmen Joller visited Ukraine to enhance bilateral health cooperation. Key areas: rehabilitation, digital health, MEDEVAC, MyHealth@EU, neonatal screening & hospital partnerships.

Four Ukrainian rehabilitation specialists from Rivne Veterans Hospital completed a month-long course on spinal cord injury rehab at Hyogo Prefectural Center (Japan) — a 300+ bed facility combining medical & social services. Training was part of the 🇺🇦🇯🇵 MOH–JICA partnership.

Last night, russians shelled a hospital in Kherson — again targeting Ukraine’s medical infrastructure. The strike injured 5 patients and 3 medics. One nurse was hospitalized, two others are being treated as outpatients. #RussiaIsATerroristStatet

russia targeted an emergency medical station in Odesa region (Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi) — a clear war crime. 🚑 One ambulance burned, six damaged. 🙏 No casualties this time. 💔 Despite everything, our medical professionals continue to save lives.

Another night attack by russia on Ukraine — 2 killed, 11 injured. 🔻 In Kyiv: damaged residential buildings, cars, a business center on fire. 🔻 In Odesa: emergency station destroyed, maternity hospital and residential buildings damaged. Medics & patients hid in shelters.

Another russian terrorist attack — this time, again, in Sumy. A morning strike injured 21 people, including 3 children. 2 adults and 2 children are in critical condition. 10 emergency medical teams responded. According to the State Emergency Service, 3 people killed.

On June 2, 2025, around 5 PM in Kherson, russian forces dropped an explosive from a drone on a medical facility. One staff member — a driver — was killed, two others were injured. The medical transport vehicle was destroyed. #russianWarCrimes

🚑 Since 2022, Ukraine’s emergency medical teams have responded to ~ 20M calls — 16,000+ daily. Today, 2,385 teams (32,981 people) serve across the country. Since russia’s full-scale invasion, it has deliberately targeted them: 58 killed, 122 injured, 600+ vehicles destroyed.

3/3 Given the ongoing health emergency caused by russia’s aggression, Ukraine and partners requested an updated report for #WHA78. Ukraine’s updated resolution was adopted. Russia’s proposed amendments were rejected by vote. The global health community stands with Ukraine.

2/2 In Prague, Okhmatdyt Hospital signed a new partnership with IKEM, one of Europe’s top centers for transplantation, cardiac surgery & endocrinology. Another memorandum was signed between Dnipro’s Regional Medical Center for Family Health & University Hospital Brno.
