The visits aimed to convey condolences to the families of persons who sadly lost their lives, reinforcing the Govt's solidarity in this difficult time. President John Mahama has offered to the bereaved families the chance to nominate a replacement for enlistment in the army.

Following the earlier visits made by the Government's Delegation to some of the bereaved families, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey together Hon. Ernest Brogya Gyenfi, on Friday 14th November 2025, extended their sympathy to the additional families impacted by the recent stampede.

Additionally, the Minister, in the company of the Deputy Minister of Defence and some officials from the Ministry of Gender, also visited some #bereaved #families in Adenta and Kpone Katamanso to #commiserate with them and convey Government's profound sympathy.

Minister, Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, led Ghana’s delegation to the 2nd #WorldSummit for #SocialDevelopment in Doha, aimed at addressing the gaps & recommit to the Copenhagen Declaration on Social Development, and accelerate progress towards the execution of the 2030 Agenda.

Following the historic passage of the #AffirmativeAction (#GenderEquity) #Act 2024, (Act 1121), the Ministry has convened a stakeholders’ validation meeting to review and finalise the 'Draft Regulations' for its full #implementation.

As part of the visit, the Minister donated an undisclosed amount of money to support an ongoing project at the prison & presented assorted items such as foodstuffs, bottled and sachet water, sanitary pads, soap, and soft drinks to the inmates.

Drawing the curtains on #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth, the Minister for MoGCSP, led a Breast Cancer sSensitization & Screening Exercise for female inmates and officers of the Nsawam Female Prison. The exercise aimed to raise #awareness on the early detection and #prevention.
