Today, I presented the proposed State Budget for 2026, amounting to MVR 55 billion (excluding the repayment of MVR 9.3 billion in Sukuk and bonds), to the Parliament. The proposed budget is designed to ensure macro-fiscal stability while restoring fiscal and debt sustainability.
