The actual report can also be found directly via DOI here: Cataloguing the ‘Oriental’ in MoDA’s Silver Studio Collection
I'm hopeful that our research on 'Cataloguing the 'Oriental'' will continue to be useful beyond the museum. You can still find it as a resource via @CollectionTrust here:

Thanks to everyone expressing sympathy/solidarity for staff. We don't yet know what will happen to the collections, other than to reassure you that our professional task now is to find new and appropriate home(s) for everything. https://t.co/vg9tUNrgp3

It's #WorldOceansDay and we are featuring #katagami stencils depicting the Great Wave. Turbulent water is often used as a metaphor for difficulties. The 2nd includes floating gourds, travelling with seeds, representing triumph over adversity. #OceansMW

The topic of the day for #MuseumWeek2023 is #food! We hold books and ephemera related to the kitchen, home appliances and cooking. This blog by Alice Naylor is a kind of ‘micro-history’ of domestic life in post war Britain #MWfood

Museums try to keep up with technology, deciding which tools will allow people more engaging access to collections. MoDA hasn't tried NFTs or VR yet, but we do use APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to share collections on our website and others:
