Last night was a GREAT night for education! We must continue to celebrate success in our schools. Gateway to Success Foundation announced they will be awarding St. Louis schools that show academic excellence in growth in February. Thank you to the foundation for its leadership!

Thank you to @GovMikeKehoe for stopping by the School Funding Modernization Task Force meeting this afternoon. This opportunity to rewrite the foundation formula will set the stage for the future of education in Missouri.

Thank you to all the child care providers and stakeholders who helped @MOEducation lay the foundation for a modern and efficient child care licensing system. This report reduces red tape but supports providers and puts children’s health and safety first.

Deputy Commissioners Dr. Kyle Kruse and @KRJONZ joined me this morning to check in with our Regional Professional Development Centers directors during their monthly meeting. Missouri’s RPDCs are an essential tool in enhancing educator skills and improving student performance.

Thank you to @MissouriOA ITSD for inviting me to speak to the ITSD-U Leadership class about intentional communication. It was a great morning talking about the importance of communicating with clarity and impact!
