Day 3 of our 2 week maintenance closure - Full course verticut and aerification, topdressing, and tree trimming! 🔥🔥

Herbicide application out today on green perimeters to eliminate existing Bermuda grass. TifTuf Bermuda grass will be installed in 3 weeks that will reduce Bermuda encroachment into the bentgrass greens surface.

7 days post aerification and the 007 bent grass is recovering nicely

It’s been a really exciting last month as I’ve started a new position as Director of Agronomy at Pinnacle Peak CC! Blessed to have the opportunity to manage the best bentgrass greens in Arizona.

Soil temps are down in the mid-50s and the TifTuf heights of cut are locked in for the golf season! Enjoy!

Our new @perryweather weather station is up and running. We’ve had a few close call lightning ⚡️ strikes during monsoon season and this station will alert the staff when lightning is in proximity. More efficient irrigation scheduling as well!
