In addition to the rules being different in Europe the game is almost a whole period/quarter shorter. So scoring stats will be more in the NBA with those two things combined. It’s actually pretty simple in my opinion. So style of play is based on these things.

I keep seeing people talk about the scoring in NBA vs Europe. The Truth is it has nothing to do with the players. It’s simply the rules. 🤷🏾‍♂️. In Europe defensive seconds combined with a shorter 3 point line area is the biggest difference. It’s a defensive advantage.

Every year a player with no stats and avg productivity has a few good Fiba games and they get a good offer from a team, the previous mediocre years go out the window 😂😂
