Interestingly the narration is laced with humour at some places! The Arif character in Red Lungi, A Taste of Heaven, and The Arabic Teacher and Gobi Manchuri have prominent streaks of humour. #readingcommunity

โBlack Cobrasโ in the book โHeart Lampโ is fiercely written. There is a strong force in each sentence in the last section. The vengeance rising in the womenโs veins and reaching their heads is strikingly unforgettable! #readingcommunity

This is an evocative collection. The narration is vibrant, capable of both lifting your spirit and shattering it into pieces. A very stimulating read about women by a woman, also appreciate the diligent translation. #heartlamp #readingcommunity
