No, it's MiSTer, PC, etc. 1200p is the spec of the HDMI2RGB DAC so that should be plenty for other refresh rates and resolutions. I haven't yet tested PCs with this output to a PC CRT to verify. So much to do and so little time!
@MisterAddons
Looking great! In your opinion what is the main benefit to using this over the cheapy HDMI to VGA adapters on Amazon? I have been using that on my broadcast monitors for a few years now.
@callanbrown
The main benefit is going to be dual video output, as well as calibrated and adjustable video levels. I've found inconsistencies in the video levels of off the shelf DACs
@MisterAddons
Is the YPbPr on the DB15 wired the same way it works on the current analog board? In other words, will my currrent cable work with this new solution?
@TRiXWoN
Probably $50. Pre-orders are great until you start getting emails from people wondering why it hasn't come out yet. I need to lock down the final revision, finish the case, get injection molding, and do production. This is just one of many concurrent projects I'm working on :)
