@MisterAddons So will this allow you to use the Digital IO for dual SDRAM and dual video at the same time?

@MisterAddons Does this use direct video on MiSTer or the normal HDMI output?

@EdwinCrump The device converts 1:1 digital to analog. Direct video is just a way to send 240p resolutions through HDMI on MiSTer.

@MisterAddons Is this a different analog solution to the previously announced IO Board, or is this taking it's place?

@nikolas0121 Parallel products - the new IO board supports native MiSTer YC video where this one converts from RGB to S-Video.

@MisterAddons Is this only mister only? Seems it's a 75kHz horizontal refresh limit? Can you do non 60Hz refresh rates, like say 800x600 @120Hz ?

@GameByNumber No, it's MiSTer, PC, etc. 1200p is the spec of the HDMI2RGB DAC so that should be plenty for other refresh rates and resolutions. I haven't yet tested PCs with this output to a PC CRT to verify. So much to do and so little time!

@MisterAddons Looking great! In your opinion what is the main benefit to using this over the cheapy HDMI to VGA adapters on Amazon? I have been using that on my broadcast monitors for a few years now.

@callanbrown The main benefit is going to be dual video output, as well as calibrated and adjustable video levels. I've found inconsistencies in the video levels of off the shelf DACs

@MisterAddons Oh this is great timing, I'm frustrated by Emotia's color noise and was looking for a replacement

@MisterAddons Probably a dumb question, but is this something I can connect to a mame pc with hdmi out?

@briancryptonix Yes, with one major caveat: most GPUs support a minimum resolution of 480p. You still have to use CRTEmuDriver etc. to get 240p.

@MisterAddons Is the YPbPr on the DB15 wired the same way it works on the current analog board? In other words, will my currrent cable work with this new solution?

@MisterAddons Any idea price? Also... not a huge deal, but how come you don't do pre-orders?

@TRiXWoN Probably $50. Pre-orders are great until you start getting emails from people wondering why it hasn't come out yet. I need to lock down the final revision, finish the case, get injection molding, and do production. This is just one of many concurrent projects I'm working on :)
