My dad had Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He participated in clinical trials for a drug that is now FDA-approved. We went from a prognosis of 3 wks to having 3 more yrs with him. The gutting of clinical trials and scientific research is an American tragedy that only harms this country.

As a teacher, I always made sure that students knew that .gov websites were reputable and acceptable when doing research. Educators should be aware that some of the images being posted on certain .gov sites may violate their district’s internet safety protocols for students.
