Last week, Willow’s Place was excited to host the latest Women’s Health Days, an initiative created by the Greater Hamilton Health Network (GHHN). Many women and gender-diverse-serving organizations, got together to provide services, supports, and care for women in Hamilton 🙌🏻

Mini Chefs is a cooking program that teaches youth in The 196 cooking, food safety, and other food skills. Mini Chefs involves the youth getting a chance to learn some new skills and perhaps a new recipe in the kitchen... Check out our Facebook or Instagram posts for more info!

Yesterday was the grand opening of @GoodShepherdHam's Dorothy Day Place, a 73-unit affordable housing program for women, non-binary, transgender, & two-spirit individuals affected by homelessness. We were glad to be in attendance celebrating the addition of this vital program 🙌🏻

Last week staff kicked off #PrideMonth celebrations by reaffirming their positive, safe space by decorating with more flags, artwork, history displays, and encouraging messages 🏳‍🌈♥ Work has also been underway to clean up and cultivate the Willow's Place #MemorialGarden 🌱🌷
