UNOC Day 2 started with a plenary and ended with a wave of HOPE! Yesterday evening, we hosted Champions from 37 Hope Spots around the world at “Champions of the Blue: A Hope Spot Celebration.” We’re deeply grateful for all of the amazing work our Champions do!

Uruguay has recently announced its first ever Marine Protected Area (MPA). The Isla de Lobos MPA now adds legal protections to the Whale and Dolphin Sanctuary of Uruguay Hope Spot, protecting the stunning biodiversity of the area. Read more here! .
