1,701 pd “Mahone” is the largest male #whiteshark #OCEARCH has worked up in the NW Atlantic #greatwhiteshark study. Named for #MahoneBay & French for a vessel commonly used in piracy, the bay has a rich history of hiding pirate ships. What new data could Mahone also be hiding?

Weather is forcing us to do a pretty big change-up. We’re transiting now over to the north coast of Nova Scotia near Prince Edward Island. Fortunately it's an area we’ve been wanting to visit anyway after sharks on the Tracker showed us the area. #ExpeditionNovaScotia

Unfortunately we have a mechanical issue with the lift forcing us to end #ExpeditionMA a few days early. We had a successful trip by tagging 4 sharks and ultimately we’re only cutting 1 or 2 fishing days. It’s the best decision to make sure we’re ready for our Canada expedition.

It's cool to see @OCEARCH hanging out in one of my favorite spots from when I was a kid. Us young ones got to hang out care free off the Cape Cod coast. Best part about it...very little adult supervision this time of year.
