Mary Barbour at 10 Hutton Dr in 1915 during the Glasgow rent strikes. The strikes, led by Mary, were a protest at rent hikes by greedy landlords keen to exploit overcrowding. They were successful and in Nov 1915 legislation limited rents to pre-war levels. #InternationalWomensDay

So proud to take out the @periodwarriors today to make donations of essential items such as tights and underwear which they have collected from local supermarkets to give to our cluster primaries 🩷 their passion and dedication to social justice is incredible!
