In my DHT interview, I was asked what was important to me. I identified several things & said I would love to be able to pick up my children at least once a week. Here I am living my best life, walking & doing the school run! It’s the little things that make a HUGE difference🧡

An unexpected week in hospital resulting in operation no.8, but bouncing back seems to get easier each time 💪🏻. Hoping to still make the academies show & my NPQH conference next week… wishful thinking or to plough through!? 🤪👀🤔. #HealthIsWealth #Recovery #Fixed

Ofsted’s new toolkit ends subject deep dives — so how can leaders show quality now? I’ve shared a simple Subject Leader Self-Audit Tool aligned with the 2025 framework to help departments reflect and prepare. 🔗 https://t.co/GnfX3xDQSX

Leading most of today’s #INSET with a misbehaving #stoma was no small feat… ✅ Extra supplies packed ✅ Matching leggings ready for a discreet quick change 😂 Sometimes leadership looks like quiet preparation and getting on with it 💪🏻 #HiddenDisability #Leader #Preparation

Nothing beats working with this incredible bunch! All so different, yet united by the same drive and professionalism… BUT, it wouldn’t be a staff do without the infamous Britney straw! 😂 (if you know; you know! 🤣)

My first Ofsted as Head of Education Services and I absolutely LOVED it! The inspectors were brilliant and really took the time to understand the context of our setting. It’s been a few days filled with learning, growth and reflection. Here’s to many more! 🥂

💙 Today is #WorldOstomyDay 💙 A little reminder that having a stoma doesn’t define a person. It represents strength, courage & a new chapter of life. Here’s to breaking stigma, raising awareness & celebrating everyone living confidently with an ostomy. #OstomyAwareness #Stoma

Mummy Friday at its best ♥️. I’m incredibly grateful to work for an organisation that allows me to still pick up my children on a Friday, on a FT contract. I make the hours up, I make it work and most importantly as a working mum, I feel like I have a good balance 💪🏻 #blessed

Education is not just about teaching. It is about care, connection and growth. By prioritising wellbeing and mental health, and by meeting SEND needs first, we create the solid foundations from which academic progress can truly flourish… ♥️.

Today has to be the most incredible day of my career as a teacher/leader! We hosted the @BatonOfHopeUK in Basingstoke & I have never felt so touched & moved. Our team, young people & community made Basingstoke SHINE today. There is always #hope. #suicideprevention #timetospeakup

Ofsted’s latest toolkits provide an opportunity for schools to pause, reflect and ask the right questions of themselves. I'm going to be running webinar for school leaders and teachers, and I’ll be focusing on the Curriculum and Teaching strand. /1

#Teaching, #LeadingTeams & supporting learners/young adults with #EHCPs really is the best job! Doing it all with a new #stoma is exhausting, so a calm weekend to #ResetAndRecharge (& keep it real) is much needed. Remember - showing vulnerability is NEVER a weakness.
