autocorrect fails me, it supposed to be yumenosaki's sister school not Yumenosaki sister's school 姉妹校 in Japanese refers to school that has good relationships with each other, not necessarily affiliated like Reimei-Shuetsu but would do exchange students and research together

Eichi had a hand in "causing trouble" in the "sister school" (again this school is not necessarily affiliated with yumenosaki, it can be just a school that has good relationships with yumenosaki) which caused Rei to leave Yumenosaki and went there instead

Ah yes, both Rei and Nozomi are the same age. But the timeline of their meeting wasn't specified other than the mention of the school being sister school of Yumenosaki.. So if Rei handle it before high school too its not impossible that the timeline of meeting is not the war

I forgot was it only on the war timeline or not but Rei actively helped Yumenosaki sister school problems overseas. In the war timeline it was used as a way to keep Rei away from yumenosaki while Eichi did his revolution. Madara eventually take that role from him...
