Stunning animation but I can't help but laugh when they have some lawyer with zero combat experience out here fighting like he's Daredevil lol Wish the choreo represented more what type of character he is and what type of experience he has

I disagree funnily enough. It starts as Chad being Ichigo's best friend, yes. But by the end of the series, I think that place belongs to Uryu. Of course, Chad still remains one of Ichigo's closest friends. I think that is the natural result of his character arc, actually.

I don't think I have ever cringed at something so horribly. The execution here feels so amateurish, it's insane

Dragging out a gag of a few panels into almost a 1 minute long clip is one thing, but the complete lack of weight and impact as he swings the bad is SO ASS.
Gear 5 is a transformation that brings out the best in animators, you can tell from this scene that they really had fun animating it https://t.co/CXoy0BitdH

Misogyny is when I make an idiotic and hypocritical statement pretending to care about misogyny (while actively consuming OP, with Oda being intimate friends with pedos) and I get called out for it
Thank you for proving to me that misogyny doesn’t exist in these mangas by being misogynistic to me yall never fail to make me laugh

This is coming from a One Piece fan who still consumes OP despite his author vouching for every pedophile he comes across and drawing for them like his life depends on it.
Bleach fans are having the most upset reactions of big 3 fans with this misogyny conversation and it’s cause they try to pride themselves on bleach being super philosophical and deep and they have an inferiority complex of being the least successful of the big three.

To be quite frank, I honestly believe if you pulled panels like these to Kishimoto or Kubo today, they themselves would probably say it's not something they would write today. I just don't get the reason for any of this type of posts lol 6/6

And if you do find them so off putting and so morally reprehensible that you simply must say or do something then... I don't know, actually make something meaningful, stand up and don't engage with the series? Or is the point just to farm some likes on Twitter? 5/?

"""Calling out""" whatever problematic aspects we as a whole find off outting or problematic is so weird lol What are you hoping to achieve? Do you seriously think they diminish Orihime in any way as a character? 4/?

The sexy jutsu jokes and Jiraiya moments, Bleach with these (and many Yoruichi related moments... One Piece, well... Don't think I need to even clarify, but point is, you have them there too. You are of course free to dislike them. I myself do it. But this bizarre current of 3/?

Especially a work from the early 2000's. I really doubt Kubo would write any of these """jokes""" today. My issue is you people surely know what type of series you are getting into beforehand, yes? A shonen from the early 2000's is basically plagued with these, Naruto with 2/?

I'm so tired of these people I don't know at what point my fandom became like this. Tite Kubo IS a gooner, and as with basically any shonen, there is plenty of weird "jokes" (I hesitate to even call them that, tbh) targeted to female characters. That's japanese humor. 1/?
Like as an Orihime fan you cannot expect me to NOT call out misogynistic undertones in Bleach when this is how she’s described throughout the series
