6. Have an Inside Crew and an Outside Crew - Outside crew brings items to entry way or designated spot right inside the house - Inside crew with booties or shoes off will get the items to the final destination. - If only 2 movers, they can do each of these steps.

5. Stage boxes and small furniture in Garage - Limiting foot traffic through the house in the winter will save tons of time - This will limit the amount of cleaning that needs to be done with the floors and carpet.

4. Designate someone to Open and Close the door. - When it’s very cold out it is best to keep the warm air inside the house - This will make the move more comfortable for everyone involved including the movers and the people inside the house.
