People give up because they aren't where they want to be creative wise, they give up as they see their friends, big YouTubers bigger than them & more successful, I also fell into that trap, stop comparing yourself to others and enjoy the things you do.

Ai cannot help you it can make you look less authentic when you use it. The term 'ai slop' exists for a reason, because that's what AI is, slop. If you truly want something work for it, in time things will pay off.

I also want to add something to this, YouTube is not 'luck' it's skill, you have to know how to grow, how to get recommended, I am self taught for almost 10 years, my channel art, banners and thumbnails have improved over the years, you learn from YOUR mistakes.

I am in this lucky position to make content, as making content for me is for fun, not for the money. That is what 2016 YouTube was about: when I was 12, everyone had fun, was creative, and didn't care as much about money.

In 2020, during lockdown for my birthday, my mum allowed me to buy a gaming setup as she supported my dream of being a content creator & I will be forever greatful for that, it's almost the same setup I use today, with some changes, as I cannot afford another one.

It was one of my best gifts to start with, as it has an in-built editing software, recording, and streaming in one console. It's a great beginner console for anyone wanting to become a content creator. The same goes for the PS5 now it's a great budget console for gaming creators

I also had a terrible Dell laptop and edited using Windows Movie Maker, yes, the very old video editing software. In 2018, I got the PS4.

Let me tell you something honestly, I started with a Samsung TAB A6 from 2016 with a pirated version of Kinemaster, it was my first device I could make YouTube videos on, you don't need fancy equipment to start a YouTube channel; that is a lie.
