Toronto Raptors center Jakob Poeltl has agreed on a four-year, $104 million contract extension with the franchise through 2029-30, sources tell ESPN. Poeltl will pick up his 2026-27 player option at $19.5M and add three additional years to his deal.

IMO It could only be two reasons: Reason 1 could be Johnnie Bryant leaving on very bad terms with the Knicks & Leon Rose, Reason 2 could be since Bryant was Associate Head Coach 4 years in NY, they already know him and officially interviewing him is currently not priority….
Knicks continue to do their due diligence to make sure they get the right person for the job. Although it makes me wonder, why no interview for Johnnie Bryant? For all the atypical and unique avenues explored, why leave that stone unturned? 🤔.
