Flying through the new exterior for the mine shaft fathom. Its an old undersea mining facility where they fabricate something called amber tallow. we're experimenting with the pcg system to try and get large, randomized undersea biomes. #indiedev #thalassophobia #indiegame

Submarine engine prototype is connected and ready to go for a test. 1 Coal stack = 10 engine power. engine gives power to submarine systems. like lights and oxygen. Light off = slowly dying while engine runs, smoke builds. If you dont purge engine smoke every so often, the

plugged the submarine teleport to the starter fathom! with an extra sub or two for scale. The defenses are to hold off the undersea horrors trying to enter Port Mursk (Main player hub) #indiegame #horrorgame #indiedev

I would be that one rat in the dopamine study that would press the lever to death... I can't stop myself. 💀 half finished system that vendors you a unique randomly selected Fathom (fathom = map location for sub travel or player space). might get a high risk high reward fathom,

Continuing to set up the more complex interaction systems in the submarine. this week I'm focusing on the Engine. It will basically be a whole mini game. - Shovel coal in to generate power - Purge smokestack (yes its coalpowered sub) or the sub will fill with smoke - and fix

made a quick HUD mock up. wanted to see how much of it in full 3d we could use. it ends up looking cool with how the scene lighting affects it. aaaaand a cool grunge dirt mask when looking at the lights. :) getting all the little things out of the way for the game. #indiedev

made a quick mock up enemy last night. took about 5 hours! the idea is you shoot his big ol' eyeballs in the front to kill it. and then there's a bigger ol' eyeball in the back for an insta kill. 💀 the tenticles look a little silly but its a wip :) #indiegames #horrorgame

Version 1 of the fly in for port Mursk. This will be the first shot of the game after pressing play from the main menu. the players will plop in infront of Gregors gate. (the boxes at the end) I wanted them to see where the sub is and how to get there. plus be cool and cinematic

This is my last progress post for a week. I'll be going camping in Yellowstone! Anyway, I got some of the rig ui done. I finished the bone collection visibility, and im in the middle of the custom properties. Then its ik-fk switching. #rigging #blender #b3d #gamedev
