I recall Gary Glitter had released an album and his agent arranged with me for him as a guest at that game. Before meeting Gazza he led the guests in the sponsors lounge in a chorus of one his songs, "Come on, come on, do you wanna be in my gang" Little did we know at the time...
Bit of a weird article in the Tottenham v Derby programme dated 25 November 1989. ‘Gary Glitter met up with Paul in the Spurs dressing room before the game with Wimbledon and then joined in the pre-match warm-up!

Thanks for your interest. Yes, my book is 60% complete with the remainder in progress. My writing had been held up by ill health earlier on, but I am now fully into completing it, hopefully by the summer then subject to publisher confirmation, it will be launched later this year.
@Miker_52 Mike - randomly saw you are writing a book in your profile on your time at spurs. Would be curious to read it when finished. Any planned date or timing?

You've got a good memory. That Chas'n'Dave intro! I've still got many of those Spurs Line programmes from 1986, featuring David Pleat and Terry Venables and Spurs players of that era. If I receive enough interest, I'll start putting them on here. What do you reckon?
